I am a detail oriented designer that takes great pride in the craft of interaction and experience design. Always on the lookout for inconsistencies, I'm an advocate for platform over product. Driving consistency and cohesion to achieve customer goals across teams, projects and products. 

I'm am a firm believer in user centered design. At the heart of all the projects I've been involved with is a deep desire to help our customers to achieve their goals. It doesn't matter how cool the technology if it doesn't help our customers succeed it isn't worth the time and effort.

I thrive on the hard challenges that cross architecture, data, and interaction. 

I'm educated as an engineer and spent the first half of my career as a structural engineer. I've designed bridges, buildings, tunnels, and waterfront facilities. I still hold my engineering license and enjoy designing software that I would have used in my everyday work.
